The youth ministry of Springfield First is designed to shape young people in their formative years to become more committed followers of Jesus. Here you'll find some of the many ways the youth of our church are loving God and loving people!
We want Springfield First Youth to develop a faith that they understand that is rooted in a scripture that builds those personal beliefs and gives them ownership of their faith.
Springfield First Youth are headed to Louisiana!
We will be doing work with the Dulac Community Center which is a national mission institution of the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church. They serve people in the lower Terrebonne Parish with social services, emergency response, and learning opportunities with an emphasis on women, children, and Native Americans in response to the Gospel.
This trip will allow our youth to be a part of long-term lasting support for any area that is suffering from poverty, food scarcity, and the constant threat of natural disasters. We will also be experiencing the rich local culture through food, music, and the natural environment. Our aim is to live into our churches mission by loving God and loving people, so that the Gospel is shared, and disciples are shaped. We will not only be shaping disciples and sharing the Gospel with those we meet in Louisiana. This is an important opportunity to share that with the youth and adults on the trip.
The total cost of the trip is $375 all inclusive, that has been reduced to $300 for each person and we hope to reduce that significantly with 2 Fundraisers.

At 10am we meet upstairs in MoJo’s (pictured) we spend about 15 minutes eating snacks and playing games. Then our Middle and High school groups go to their own classes. Our teachers get into some great conversations with our youth about the Bible and what it means to us.
Youth at FLow
Sunday Night Youth has moved to Wednesdays as a part of FLOW. Doors will open for youth at 4:30 with adult and youth organized activities beginning at 5:30 we encourage families to come together bring a meal and enjoy time before studies begin
