Lighthouse began as a widows' ministry, launched in 2023 with the mission to be a beacon of hope through shared experiences, compassionate connections, and practical assistance.

Since then, we've expanded our efforts to include both widows and widowers. 

This is a ministry not only for those navigating spousal loss but also by those navigating spousal loss: those who best understand the journey and its difficulties.  Even with the best support around you, having another person to walk with you can be helpful.  That's why Lighthouse was created.

Lighthouse isn't counseling.  It's a place for widows and widowers to engage in small groups and social activities, and to find practical help; a place to renew as you move forward.

Lighthouse isn't connected to any one denomination or tradition, but we do believe it's God's ministry.  As such, all are welcome!
